Usage : A rapid one step lateral flow immunochromatography test for the Qualitative analysis of Troponin I, CK-MB & Myoglobin in Human whole Blood to aid in the Diagnosis of Myocardial Infarction.

Description : Myoglobin (MYO), Creatine Kinase MB (CK-MB) and Cradiac Troponin I (cTnI) are proteins released into the blood stream after cardiac injury. When muscle cells are damaged, Myglobin is released into the blood rapidly due to its relatively small size. The level of Mygloblin increases measurably above base line 2-4hrs , post-infract peeking at 9-12hrs. CK-Mb is the isoenzyme of Creatine Kinase most involved in the metabolism of cardiac muscle tissue. The release of CK-MB into the blood following an MI can be detected within 3-8hrs after the onset of symptoms.
